The members of the Board of Directors of the fenaco cooperative are appointed on the recommendation of the relevant region. External members are recruited nationally by the Board of Directors. Farmers in the member cooperative have the majority of seats on the Board of Directors, and the Chairman must also be a working farmer. This ensures that fenaco’s focus is always on its members’ interests and that it fulfils the cooperative mission.

The members of the Board of Directors are elected by the assembly of delegates for a four-year term of office. The Board of Directors of the fenaco cooperative consists of farmers, chairmen and members of the LANDI Board of Directors, incumbent members of the LANDI Management, and external parties. This ensures that the members of the Board of Directors maintain a close professional connection with the business activity and a personal relationship with the responsible partners. The Board of Directors does not include any executive member of fenaco.

At the Board of Directors’ meetings, which are held monthly, the Board, in the presence of the Management, informs itself about the development of the company and makes decisions accordingly.
